ITINERARY OF: 4 DAYS TOUR FROM TANGIER TO MARRAKECH VIA SAHARA

  • DAY 1 : TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES

    We’ll drive across the Rif mountains when we meet you at the agreed-upon location. Passing via Tetoun to take in the breathtaking mountain views before arriving in Chefchaouan, one of the most picturesque settlements at the foot of the Rif Mountains. First and foremost, the medina of Chefchaouen features a Spanish-style square surrounded by a variety of eccentric arts and crafts boutiques, roof-top eateries, and cafes where you may have lunch. Before continuing on to Fes, where we will stay in a typical Moroccan riad for the night.

  • DAY 2 : FES – IFRANE – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA CAMEL TREKKING

    We will pick you up after breakfast and begin our adventure. Then travel south over the Middle Atlas highlands to Ifrane, dubbed “Moroccan Switzerland,” and Azrou. We’ll then stop in the cedar forests along the road to witness the Barbarian Apes in their native habitat. As you reach Errachidia, you’ll witness views of the Middle-Atlas plateau and the environment altering to give clues of the desert as you travel via the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and down the beautiful Ziz Gorges cut by volcanic rock. Then, after lunch, we’ll continue on to Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga via the Ziz Valley. We’ll next leave our belongings in a safe place and ride a camel to a Berber tent in the center of the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes after a drink of mint tea. They are, in reality, North Africa’s highest sand dunes. To begin, the camel trek takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the camp to the Berber tents where we will spend the night in the desert. As a result, the tents are well-stocked with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. Finally, after dinner, we’ll gather around the fire to listen to traditional Berber drums while gazing at the stars.

  • DAY 3 : MERZOUGA – TOUDRA GORGE – DADES VALLEY

    We’ll get up early to watch the dawn over the dunes while eating breakfast. Then return to your hotel or riad by camel. We’ll continue our journey through Rissani Market, Arfoud, Tinghir, and the Todra Gorges before landing in the Dades Valley for dinner and the night.

  • DAY 4 : DADES VALLEY – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

    We’ll drive through the Dades Valley to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate after breakfast. The route through the Dades Valley is known as the “Kasbah Road,” and it offers countless photo opportunities. We’ll then go to the Roses Valley and Skoura village. Then continue to Ouarzazat, dubbed “Africa’s Hollywood.” Then it’s off to Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s largest Kasbah, for lunch. So, after viewing this UNESCO World Heritage Site, we’ll go on to the Tizi nTichka Pass, which is breathtaking. Stop at a height of 2260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains to take in the breathtaking views and see the argan oil cooperative. Then we’ll arrive in Marrakech late in the afternoon, bringing our services to a close.
