6 DAYS TOUR FROM MARRAKECH  VIA DESERT, will begin our tour in Marrakech, traveling via the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N Tichka Pass, before continuing on to Ait Ben Haddou, a historic UNESCO World Heritage Site, and then on to Ouarzazate, “Africa’s Hollywood,” Agdz City, the Draa Valley, and Zagora.

Driving from Tazarine to Merzouga via Alnif, Rissani, and Tazarine. Arriving in Erg Chebbi, you’ll ride camels and spend the night in Berber tents.

After that, we’ll take a different path back to Marrakech, passing via Rissani market, palm oases, Tinghir, Todra Gorge, Dades Valley, Rosas Valley, Ouarzazate, and finally arriving in Marrakech through Tizi Ntichka pass.

We will begin our 6 DAYS TOUR FROM MARRAKECH VIA DESERT excursion in the southeast, crossing across the Tizi N tichka pass at 2,260 meters, and visiting the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui in Telouet (lunch in the place).

Afternoon treks to Ait Ben Haddou, passing through the Ounila valley, which is home to Berber communities. Proceed to Ouarzazate. Dinner and a night at a hotel or a Riad are included.

After breakfast, start for Agdez over the anti-Atlas at a height of 1660 meters, then continue to Zagora via the Draa valley with its procession of palm trees and many classic Berber villages, arriving at Zagora. Lunch is served on the premises.

Afternoon departure for Tamgroute, where you’ll see the old Koranic library, the kasbah underground, and a pottery factory. Get back to Zagora. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel or riad

Depart for Zagora, going through the Draa valley again to join a trail that leads to the villages of Taftechna and Ait Ouaazique, both of which have engravers repestres, and to the road that leads to Tazarine and Alnif, where you may eat lunch.

After lunch, we travel via Rissani to Merzouga’s spectacular dunes (Chebbi Erg). Then we’ll swap from 4x4s to camels for a sunset camel ride through the dunes and an overnight stay in an authentic nomad bivouac in the middle of the dunes. In berber tents for dinner and the night.

Get up early in the morning to catch a glimpse of the sunrise before returning to the bottom of the dunes on camels. After breakfast, we’ll head out towards Erfoud on the road that leads to the town.

Then we leave, passing via Tourog’s palm plantations and Tinjdad (for lunch), and then on to the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night. Dinner and a night at a hotel or riad are included.

After breakfast, we’ll go to Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate via the Dades Valley, or Asif N’dades in Tamazight (berber). The path through Dades Valley is known as the Way of the Thousand Kasbahs, and it offers several opportunity to capture some of the best photographs of your trip.

We’ll make a pit stop in Kalaat Mgouna, dubbed “the Rose City,” to buy rosewater, which will keep your linen smelling fresh long after your trip is ended. Continue to Ouarzazate via the Amridil Kasbah, home to many Glaoui people and one of the last Berber chieftains in the 18th century.
