Overview

6 Days Tour From Tangier To Marrakech Via Fes. will begin in Tangier traveling through traditional villages to see Chefchaouen the blue pearl. After that, we’ll travel to Volubilis (the Berber Roman remains), Meknes, and spend a full day in Fes with a local guide. We will cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane (the Moroccan Switzerland), Azrou, cedar forest, passing through several towns, Midelt (the apple capital), Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m), Valley of Palm Grove, Erfoud, Rissani, overnight in a Berber, then take another route to Marrakech via Rissani Markt, Todra gorge, Dades gorge, Ait ben Haddou, arriving in Marrakech with our luggage. With a native guide, spend a whole day in Marrakech.

ITINERARY OF: 6 DAYS TOUR FROM TANGIER TO MARRAKECH VIA FES

  • DAY 1 : TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES

    We’ll drive across the Rif mountains when we meet you at the agreed-upon location. As a result, we’ll pass through Tetoun city to take in the lovely mountain views before arriving at Chefchaouan. It’s one of the most beautiful settlements in the Rif Mountains. The medina of Chefchaouen has a Spanish-style square with many eccentric arts and crafts merchants, roof-top eateries, and cafes. So, if we have time, we can stop for a little visit before continuing on to Fes. We’ll stay in a traditional Moroccan riad for the night, with dinner and breakfast included.

  • DAY 2 : FULL DAY IN FES

    With the help of a local guide, we will visit the medina (old city) after breakfast. Fes is one of the world’s largest and oldest cities. We’ll go through narrow lanes filled with the scent of spices and colorful carpets, as well as many other Moroccan art products. We’ll stop at Kings Palace, the tanneries, the potters, and other artisans along the way. After that, we’ll have lunch in a typical restaurant in the center of the Medina before wrapping off the tour and returning to our hotel.

  • DAY 3 : FES – IFRANE – ERFOUD – RISSANI – MERZOUGA CAMEL TREKKING

    On this day, we will begin our journey to the southeast through the Middle Atlas, passing through Ifrane, “Moroccan Switzerland,” and Azrou, where we will visit the famous cedar forest, Morocco’s largest, to observe and play with Barbary apes. We continue south from here, passing through various towns and stopping to see nomads living in tents along the way. Then we’ll make a pit stop in Midelt, where you’ll have lunch. Later, we’ll continue on to Merzouga over the Tizi N’Talghomt Pass (1907m), where we’ll take in the panoramic views. Along the Ziz River, you’ll also have the opportunity to stop for a panoramic view of the Aoufous palmeraie.At the end of the day, we’ll travel to Erg Chebbi’s captivating dunes, where we’ll take a camel ride through the dunes and watch the sunset. Nomadic tents were used for the night.

  • DAY 4 : MERZOUGA – TOUDRA GORGE – DADES VALLEY

    Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to view what could be the most beautiful sunrise you’ve ever seen. Then it’ll be a tranquil camel trek back to Merzouga village. The beautiful Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which change with the light as the day advances, will not fail to wow you along the way. After a nice shower and breakfast, you’ll depart for the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges. First and foremost, these are Morocco’s highest and narrowest gorges, and we will proceed to Dades Valley and Roses Valley after lunch in the midst of the gorges. After that, travel to Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa). Finally, we’ll spend the night at a luxury traditional guesthouse with dinner and breakfast.

  • DAY 5 : DADES VALLEY – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH

    We will drive to the famed Ait Ben Haddou kasbah after breakfast in your riad. In fact, it is Morocco’s largest Kasbah. After viewing this UNESCO matrimonial historical monument, our Tangier desert tours will proceed over the High Atlas Mountains’ spectacular Tizi ‘n’ tichka pass (2260 m). As a result, we’ll have time to take in the scenery and visit the argan oil cooperative. Then it’s on to lunch in the mountains. After that, we’ll arrive in Marrakech late in the afternoon, with plenty of time to see the iconic square (Jemaa lafna ). Finally, spend the night in a classic medina riad with dinner and breakfast.

  • DAY 6 : DRIVE TO THE AIRPORT

    You’ll have more free time today to explore Marrakech. So, till the time of your flight’s departure. Then it’s off to the airport to wrap up your Tangier desert tours.
