ITINERARY OF: AFFORDABLE 8 DAYS TOUR FROM CASABLANCA TO MARRAKECH

After that, we met at the agreed-upon location. We will begin our vacation in Rabat, where we will see the Old Kasbah of Udayas and Hassan Tower, as well as Meknes, Morocco’s other royal city. The famed Bab El Mansour gate, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the Sahrij Souani will also be visited before continuing on to Fez. Stay at a hotel or a Riad for the night.

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad and take you on a tour of Fes with a local guide. The trip to Fes includes a visit to the El Bali Medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Medina), the new part of the medina, the Koranic school, and the tanneries, as well as any other destinations you choose to see. The night will be spent at a Riad or Hotel in Fez.

After breakfast, we’ll travel to Ifrane, also known as “Moroccan Switzerland,” and Azrou, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains on the Tizi n t’lghamt pass. We will stop in many places to take pictures and have lunch in Midelt, following which we will continue our tour through Ziz valley, Errachidia, Erfoud, and finally Merzouga, the center of the Moroccan Sahara Desert, where you will rest before riding your camels and hiking into the deep desert. We’ll catch the sunset amid the sand dunes while camel trekking. After a great dinner in a Sahara Desert camp, we will spend the night in desert tents listening to Berber drumming music while gazing at the stars.

Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, you’ll return to the hotel on your camel. Here, we will take you on an exploratory excursion of the area, including a visit to the Khamlia settlement, which was founded by former Sudanese slaves… to experience their music and way of life. We could also want to pay a visit to the Berber nomad tents, where many Berber goods are cheaper than in the towns. You’ll spend the night at a hotel or a Riad here.

The following morning. You will depart for Rissani, where we will see the Markt, a traditional settlement that was the birthplace of Morocco’s reigning family and the meeting point for caravans travellitravelingng as far as Timbuktu in Mali. Continue to the Todra gorges, Morocco’s tallest and narrowest canyons, where you’ll encounter a number of hooded men and veiled women. We’ll drive through the Dades Valley after lunch in the valley, where you’ll view spectacular sandcastles and fascinating rock formations known as “monkey toes.” The night will be spent in a posh hotel with a view of the Dades valley.

The day will begin with a tour of the spectacular rock formations of the Dades Gorges After breakfast in the hotel. Then drive through the Valley of Roses to Kalaa M’gouna and skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate, Africa’s Hollywood, and stopping at the Atlas Film Studios. Then on to the “Kasbah Ait Benhaddou,” a UNESCO world heritage site since 1986. Visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which has provided a natural backdrop for films such as “Alexender, Gladiator, Babel…”, then take lunch at a local restaurant. We’ll drive to Marrakech’s red city in the afternoon, crossing across the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). Arrival in Marrakech and transfer to your hotel.

Our journey continues to Essaouira or Mogador, where we will see Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Morocco. Essaouira is a rare example of a late-eighteenth-century walled town designed according to modern European military architecture ideas in a North African setting. It has been a key international commerce harbor since its founding, connecting Morocco and its Saharan hinterland to Europe and the rest of the world. Returning to Marrakech

After breakfast in the riad, we begin our sightseeing tour of Marrakech, Morocco’s “red city,” which was created in the 12th century by the Almoravidian dynasty. We’ll go to the most significant cultural and historical sites. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Saadiyin Tomb, Majorelle Gardens, and the Koutoubia Mosque (Tower). Furthermore, our guide will take you to Bahia Square, the city’s Souk, and then to the famous medina square, where you will see and learn about the interesting serpent’s magician, as well as “funny seminars,” in which some professional or comical people tell amazing and nice jokes. You will have free time in the afternoon to roam about and explore other parts of the city on your own.
